This will allow users to scan directly into ADG instead of scanning to the computer and attaching a file to ADG. It could be used in anything that allows attachments.
While we understand the desire for a more efficient method to scan and upload attachments, third party hardware integrations are quite complex and difficult to develop within a web application. We do not plan to implement this in the near future.
If ADG could enable a content manager to create an Invoice Barcode Label for printing labels to place on the Invoice. Then the client could scan the AP batches into the Content Manager could automatially attach the Invoices in ADG. This would save time and make us more efficient.
