Currently you can only change the payrate in real time. Often we get payroll change notices that are for the future, so we have to remember to set the change in the future after that payroll. It would be nice if you could enter a payrate change to take effect on xx/xx/xx in the future and the system would start paying that rate after that date.
Thank you for your idea! The Personnel Action Request module is intended to be used to initiate action on future rate changes. However, there isn't a "connection" between the PAR form and an employee's Recurring Pay Type Code. Please note the Hourly Rate "connection" does exist. We are considering adding this enhancement to the Personnel Action Request module.
