WATER QUALITY COMPLIANCE AND NOTIFICATION

Water Utilities are now required to track and report on an inventory of customer locations which have lead in their service line and/or distribution line/tap from the utility. This information must be available to all customers, and there are other tracking and reporting requirements. In the future there may be actions required (replacing lines, etc.). Currently we are pulling customer/location data, work order histories, inventory data, etc. to generate actionable datasets in another application. Spatial presentment of the data would also be helpful, and if accessible through CitizenLink, customers can view their service line material and update the utility.

    I am very familiar with this issue and the recent modifications to the requirements. This is a topic we will need to workshop to understand all federal requirements and design features.
